My husband, Steve, and I met at Southern Methodist University in 1989 and have been married since 1992. We have four children: Clayton (a sophomore at TWHS), Adam (a freshman at TWHS), Emma (First Grade) and Audrey (Kindergarten)

Do you have any pet peeves?
People WHO KNOW that the right lane of Research Forest at 45 is right-turn-only and wait until they are right beside me (who has waited through three lights) to cut in line! Also I’m a little neurotic about having the eggs in a carton be symetrical and I will throw out an egg if I can’t make it look right.
If you could spend a day with anyone in history?
I really miss my Mamaw, who used to go to church with me here at TWUMC and passed away in January of 2009. I would love to have another day with her (and she’d get the Chuychanga at Chuy’s while I ate my chips and dip!)

What is the one scripture passage that is closest to your heart?
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes! Ephesians 3:20-21
Who has had the most influence on your life?
Having children has been the most life-changing thing I’ve ever done. My kids have made me who I am.
What is one thing nobody knows about you?
I have moved 15 times in my life, I belt out opera around the house AND I love to decorate the house for Christmas!
What is one thing you hope to do in the near future?
Institute a regular date night again with my husband – something we should have never given up!
