J E S U S . The first word to describe our senior high ministry must be Jesus. Our desire as a family of high school students is to love with Jesus, learn more about Jesus, serve in the name of Jesus, live more like Jesus, and worship Jesus in all we do. Everything else flows from this central value. We do our best to create an environment of openness and honesty, where questions and doubts are welcome, while still committing to shatter the false stereotype that living for Christ is restrictive and boring. We believe the opposite is true; we have been set free, and we are going to have a ridiculous amount of fun as we live our lives together rejoicing in that freedom.

Whether we are snowboarding the Rockies in Colorado, serving the poor in South America, or just gathering for a bite to eat here in The Woodlands, the goal is always the same:

Know Him. Make Him known.

There are plenty of opportunities and ways to get involved in the high school ministry at rebelbase. Here are some highlights (in no particular order) -

D-Groups are the high school small group Bible studies at rebelbase. They meet throughout the week and are all led by different adults who love Jesus and want Him to be known by students in the community. Each group is gender/grade specific and meets at a time and place decided by that group. Some groups meet in homes, some at the church - it just depends on what each particular group decides works best. We believe in small group ministry - we think that is where true growth and spiritual formation happens. If you are looking for the 1 place to grow more in Jesus - you've found it: SMALL GROUPS.

Shift is our Wednesday night Bible Study here at rebelbase. We get together in the middle of the week to hang out together, worship, study the word and SHIFT into what God has for us. Here's the thing about Shift: there's not really any extra 'frill' when it comes to our Wednesday nights: there's no bells, no whistles - it is just a Bible Study. We go through chunks of scripture together, verse by verse and wring out as much Truth as we can. We meet every Wednesday at 8pm (doors open at 7) at the Student Center in the Loft. Crowded House is our loud, high energy Sunday service for high school and junior high students. Every Sunday there is worship, teaching and a splash of irreverence. Crowded House starts at 11:10... or so... but come a little early and grab a coffee and a donut from 'The Ugly Mug,' our in-house coffee shop. We start Crowded House all together for fun and for worship, but then we split into Jr and Sr High for teaching. This is nt your typical church service - its Crowded House.

We’ve got two GREAT Sunday School teachers lined up in Mike Michalski and Tom Hauser, and they’re teaching a VINTAGE Sunday School every Sunday morning at 9:30. This semester, they are going through a Francis Chan study called “Crazy Love.” Wake up a little earlier this week and come check it out!
